"Everything's Different, Nothing's Changed" represents the lift journey Armon has taken in the last two years. Even in his own works Armon says it's a two-year journey from darkness to sunlight or more "Desolation to Consolation."  His debut album is a manifestation of restored hope - a set of songs derived from sleepless  nights that speak from the very core of his being.

Jay grew up with his Chattanooga, TN born father who was a portrait painter who played Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson on the guitar while his mom sung around the house.  He grew up with Whitney Houston and Kenny Loggins in his childhood, bringing him inspiration to his music.

One thing that I find fascinating about Armon is that he is pro-active in his success.  Jay was successful in raising $14,000 USD on Kickstarter so he could travel to producer Joshua James to record his album for two weeks.  He's one artists that will not stop to make his album and he did just that.

Armon has created a track that makes you feel connected to him and his journey.  In life we are or have come to a point in our life where we have to figure out our next steps.  We realize that we reach a path in life that everything is different, we have to accept it, then at the same moment nothing feels to be changing.  What do you do?  Well, Armon combined these feelings into a feel good and heartfelt track.

I personally have "Everything's Different, Nothing's Changed" on repeat.  Armon's voice is emotional and truthful.

If you like Bright Eyes and Ryan Adams, you will love Armon's Jay's album.

Life, Journey and Love flows out with every line of "Everything's Different, Nothing's Changed".  A must purchase...enjoy the Journey!
