JUNE 25, 2014 - COLUMBUS, OH - Fashion Meets Music Festival (FMMF) have announced new headlining acts R. Kelly,Michelle Williams (of Destiny's Child), O.A.R., Rusko, Paper Diamond, and Destructo, as well as additional After Party acts including Future Islands, The Menzingers, and Maps & Atlases to join the inaugural festival - which will be taking place over Labor Day Weekend (Friday, August 29th through Sunday, August 31st) in Columbus, OH's Arena District. Michelle Williams will MC FMMF's Gala held on Thursday, August 28th at The Bluestone - where O.A.R. will take stage and Alexis Eggleston will debut her couture line. The gala will kick off the festival's new program, the Fusion Foundation, and their efforts in helping emerging artists and designers. FMMF will offer Runway Shows featuring Koalacore, Lubna Designs, and the International partner of Fashion Meets Music UK who will be brining on designers such as Lyrics4Lyrics, Ricalyce, Luv Dog, and Jodi B. NY Model Management will host a male and female model search competition, with tryouts on both Friday and Saturday. The winner of the competition will be announced during the festival on Sunday.

Throughout the weekend in the Marketplace, the Lexus Runway Stage will be home to panels and spotlights featuring both designers and artists discussing both the music and fashion industries. For additional information on the Fashion Retail Marketplace, visit: http://fmmf.us/expo/.

The three-day festival, which has been confirmed for a second year in 2015, fuses music and fashion together to create one entertainment platform. FMMF's seven indoor and outdoor stages are set to house over 200 musical acts, and the Columbus Convention Center will be fully transformed into a fashion and music retail marketplace - with expo booths and a dedicated runway installed to showcase the latest from today's established and emerging designers. Fans will also get the unique opportunity to see some of their favorite acts play intimate shows through the festival's after party and encore show series - which will take place in local venues in and around the city, including Park Street Tavern, Brothers Drake, The Basement, Three-Legged Mare, The Big Bang. In addition to music and fashion, Nationwide Boulevard from High Street to Neil Avenue will be transformed into a streetscape of various cuisine and beverage selections; complete with gourmet food trucks, aerial zip lines, and one of North America's largest Gondolas, towering 100 feet tall.
