July 7th, 2014 - Nashville, TN - Electro-rock outfit, Vinyl Thief, have premiered "Midd of The NIght"off their debut LP today with AV Club. Stream the song here: http://avc.lu/1otNMtV. The band's upcoming full-length, "Fathoms," follows their successful"Stop Motion" EP, which garnered attention from the likes of VICE's Noisey, Paste Magazine, NYLON Guys, Huffington Post, The Deli Nashville, Baeble Music and more. "Fathoms"  is set for release on July 22nd. About the band's new track, "Middle of The Night," Vinyl Thief frontman, Grayson Proctor explains, "This song came together at the very end of the album process. I was lying awake in our manager's apartment at 4am in New York after a gig. I've always loved being awake at that point of the night. It almost feels like everyone around you is on pause and you get to experience things completely on your own." He continues,"I sang the melody and the lyrics "who's gonna hold you, in the middle of the night" into my phone and didn't think twice about it. We revisited it later and the three other guys took it somewhere that was really exciting. Logan's guitar melody in the instrumentals is one of my favorites of the entire record.

Vinyl Thief's insanely dynamic live show has been selling out venues in their hometown of Nashville, and has landed the band direct support gigs for bands including the Joy Formidable, Little Green Cars, Youngblood Hawke, and Wild Cub, as well as festivals slots at CMJ, SXSW and curated tastemaker shows such as Communion Nashville alongside PAPA and Seryn and an upcoming spot on KCRW's It's A School Night! at Brooklyn Bowl in New York.
